More of the essence of Christianity

Darin, Aimee and Kim talk further about how missing the essence of Christianity has affected our entire religion. This discussion is about how we have been trained to believe that Christianity is about not sinning. Understanding freedom and standing in it, can be the difference between spiritual life or death.

I commented on the forum as well. This was amazing, raising so many important issues...the cross, sin...being yourself and not snuffing out our feelings..our deep feelings often lead us to the heart of God Bless you!!!!

Good stuff!..It's all about Freedom! There was a certain kind freedom in not knowing I was a sinner (before I learned of Christ) And now a greater freedom in knowing I am eternally secure with the Lord my Savior (even though I still sin)....but the journey between these two extremes was emotional bondage for me! I went through years of the sin-and-guilt cycle. My whole life was about not sinning and I was a wreck! It has taken me awhile to get this message to sink in and bring true freedom. Thank you Darin for this message. It has changed my heart towards Christ and what freedom truly is.
